I had forgotten how everyone told him to shut up. I love people like him and Zaccheaus who wouldn't give up on Jesus. Mercy is all we can ask for now...with this holocaust. People don't like you to call it that. What is it then? It's madness!! God help us!

I know what you mean about comments vaporizing. I have learned to copy them before I try to post them, in case they disappear, I can still paste them back again :) I wonder sometimes too about the evil spirits. Sometimes the cursor freezes, words disappear, the format gets messed up, etc. It's often on a pro-life post.

If I make it to my retreat tomorrow..many prayers for you and your intentions. For some reason I have now lost two attempts to reply to your comment. It's either God's will or an evil spirit has entered blogger's commenting code such that any attempt to post a comment while using an external keyboard with the iPad immediately vaporizes the comment. Unable to tell the cause. In any case, I am one with you in belief, thought, and emotion on the shame and evil of legal abortion in this country, and around the world. The Killing Fields of Cambodia have an estimated 1.8 to 2.5 million deceased victims. The Holocaust was 6 million Jews killed, possibly 11 million total killed. Stalin is said to have killed around 20 million. Mao in China is said to have killed as many as 49-78 million, but I think that excludes abortions and infanticide from one child policy abortion/infanticides and related gender selective abortions and infanticides.

55 Million in this country founded on the principles in the Declaration of Independence. As I said before, clearly it was evil and wrong to legislate an African American as 3/5ths of a person. Clearly it is evil and wrong for a court ruling to have made an unborn baby 0/5ths of a person and the woman, and those pressuring her and performing the abortion as having the legal right to violently end the unborn baby's life.

Was reading the other morning about Bartimaeus crying out for Jesus to have mercy, despite the crowd telling him to shut up. We are just like him, Patricia. Crying out Jesus, Son of David, Son of God, have mercy on us. And, as he turns and asks us what we want from him we ask him, Lord let our nation regain its moral sight. Bring us out of darkness. Please bring an end to this evil, this slaughter of innocents.

Love you Patricia. I will let you know when I am going. I know I benefit so much from your prayers.CWriteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06654242399318374459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416649589454162340.post-47894047014088092582013-01-22T22:54:31.044-06:002013-01-22T22:54:31.044-06:00God bless you, Colleen! Thank you for going out t...God bless you, Colleen! Thank you for going out to the front lines so often to try to rescue babies and their mothers from the horror of abortion. I watched the video, and it was just chilling. What a contrast between those holding signs affirming life, and the dreary looking abortuary across the street. How hard it must be to witness women coming out of there...leaving their dead babies behind...in pieces. God help us!

Today was such a dreadful reminder that this insanity has been going on for 4 decades...when it is bad law, and the csse was based on lies, and this is not my opinion but that of respected judges..not all conservative.

I live in a small town, so there is no "clinic" here, but an hour away in Baton Rouge, there is one, where I occasionally go. BR is still a small city, so the place is only open a few days/week and usually only in the morning.

Reading your post, and watching the video I just kept thinking: I can't believe we have to do this...in this country, where we once were the envy of the world; we were the ones who liberated oppressed people and fed millions outside of our borders. Such a thing as killing your own child was unthinkable. How did we get to this?

Never doubt that you are making a difference. Even if you managed to save only one baby, you would be saving generations to come...countless people given a chance at life, because you convinced one mother to give her child a chance.

Isn't it amazing? Fifty-five plus million babies killed just in the US since Roe v Wade...but that's only the beginning. All of their descendants died with them. Who can count the number? Who can imagine God's plan? What has forever been lost to us and the entire world?
Who are we to play God? What have we done? We are destroying His image and likeness by the millions! Will this insanity ever stop!

I promise to be your prayer support when you go. I'll keep this intention in all my prayers, and let me know ahead if you can when you will be at the killing field.

What a sad day this is...... Thank you,Colleen, for all you do. xoxo

Patriciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16544210857236830904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416649589454162340.post-90723433187606957632013-01-21T09:41:34.409-06:002013-01-21T09:41:34.409-06:00Hi, Tom. While the logistics of this center don't enable close up and personal conversation, still yelling that somewhere in the mix might be enough to spark a conversation and lead to finding way for God to provide through the resources of the local Pro-life community. We also go monthly to a site in downtown Chicago. There are escorts there from NARAL who physically make contact with the women coming into the center as quickly as possible to prevent our more gentle approach to them. They quickly bring them from the public parking lot, through cross-traffic (jay-walking) into the Bubble Zone Ordinance area, 50 feet from the entrance) so as to prevent the woman hearing anything. Still saying clearly somewhere along the way, "What would it take you to not go in there?" Might be enough for them to turn and answer us. We'll see. I like the testimony of wall of baby pictures . . . not sure if all of them, or the closed clinic were from that tactic, but it is worth a shot!CWriteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06654242399318374459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416649589454162340.post-31336125605712298632013-01-20T14:21:32.132-06:002013-01-20T14:21:32.132-06:00Sad that there is not an entrance where you could ...Sad that there is not an entrance where you could get closer to the women (and men). A local counseling group has had much success with calmly asking one question as women pass them going into a clinic: "What would it take for you to not go in there?" Many stop to tell, and then the counselors promise to help with whatever their problem --- and they do.

They have to constantly fundraise and beg for money/help from others so that they can keep their promises, but as they say: "God always provides." They have a wall full of baby pictures, and a picture of the clinic that closed.Do Not Be Anxioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04607616214486933423noreply@blogger.com
