Fr. Gaitley on Women of Grace

Consoling the Heart of Jesus

I just posted on Community of Catholic Bloggers to let people know Fr. Michael Gaitley is the guest on Women of Grace on EWTN this week.  Please follow the link above to find out why it is a blessing to hear him in person after benefiting so much from prayerfully reading his book.

  2. Hello, Colleen. I've seen him, and the book is in my cart at Amazon. Can't wait to read it. Is it as good as it sounds?

I couldn't stop watching him, as he radiated such holiness. I even prayed for him at adoration this afternoon. What a wonderful young priest! Can't wait to get the book.

    Blessings,
    Patricia

  3. Patricia, it really is one of the top 5 books that I have ever read. You will treasure the time you have reading it, I would bet and you will probably want to buy copies for your family and friends once you finish too! Anne at Imprisoned in my Bones posted on this book awhile back, you could search her site. I think it was called Ecce, Fiat, Magnificat, as that is the breathing prayer he teaches in the book as way of praying unceasingly.

  4. Thank you, Colleen. Your top five, huh? I will check Anne's blog for her review, but I'm sold! I watched the third program in the series this morning. Father himself, and just the cover of the book are enough for me. I just want to meditate on that cover!

God bless Johnette! I love Women of Grace. Well, off to Amazon to order two copies for starters : )

    God bless you!

  5. If you like the cover, Patricia, you will find in the book he has a meditation behind the cover image, of Mary lifting you to kiss Jesus on the cross to console him.
